Climate can affect dolphins because as the oceans gets cold, the location of the ideal water temperature may shift because they live in tropical waters.

Rising temperatures can also directly affect the metabolism, life cycle and behaviour of marine species. For many species, temperature servers as a cue for reproduction. Clearly changes in sea temperature could affect their successful breeding.

Availability of light

Light in the ocean is like light in no other place on earth. Light behaves very differently when it moves from air into water. Dolphins need light so they can see to escape from their predators and hunt for food. Without light they wont be able to do these stuff and their predators will catch them easily.
